Cornelia de Lange Syndrome Initiative

Cornelia de Lange Syndrome (CDLS) is a rare disease that affects 1 in 10,000 to 30,000 newborns.  The condition is probably under-diagnosed because affected individuals with mild or uncommon features may never be recognized as having CDLS.

With an early diagnosis of CDLS, the healthier it is for mental and physical development.  Families with CDLS children have daily challenges in providing the vital early intervention care needed for their child to reach their full potential.

When you support our Cornelia de Lange Syndrome Initiative, your helping bring awareness of CDLS that could help save lives at birth and that supports critical early intervention medical procedures, therapies, equipment and supplies that is vital for physical and mental development.
